On April 28-29, a grandiose concert was held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace within the framework of the "Eternal Life" project dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the outstanding composer, People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tofig Guliyev.
Director of the Heydar Aliyev Palace Ramil Gasimov greeted the people who were present on the historical stage and spoke about the role of this historic and important day in the cultural life of our country. It was noted that the works and music of Tofig Guliyev are forever imprinted in the memory of the people. In his speech, R. Gasimov spoke about the attention and care of the national leader Heydar Aliyev to Tofig Guliyev and also noted the initiatives of the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to hold solemn concerts dedicated to the composer. He paid special attention to the orders of Ilham Aliyev on the name of the street and the music school, the installation of a memorial plaque and the erection of a monument in order to perpetuate the memory of the outstanding representative of Azerbaijani music Tofig Guliyev.

Well-known Azerbaijani representatives of culture and art, People's Artists Ilgar Muradov, Ramiz Guliyev, Honored Artists Aygun Beylar, Elton Huseynaliyev, Anar Shushali, Inara Babayeva, Khayyam Nisanov, Agshin Abdullayev, Zakir Aliyev, singers Zabita Aliyeva, Ainur Iskenderli, Atesh Garayev, Fatima Jafarova , Shaban Jafarov, Aidan Hasanova, Jalal Karimov, Samira Allahverdiyeva, Vagif Shikhaliyev, Sabina Arabli, Azad Shabanov, Suleiman Suleymanov, Rasim Farajov, Ulker Aliyeva, Urfan Jafarov and Jamil Sadizade (piano) and many others performed at this concert.
