December 14, 2022, commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Palace. To honor this milestone, the management and dedicated staff of the Heydar Aliyev Palace paid their respects at the Alley of Honor, where they remembered the national leader of their people and the visionary behind the modern, independent Azerbaijani state, Heydar Aliyev. They also visited the grave of the eminent ophthalmologist and scientist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Subsequently, the Palace team made a pilgrimage to the Alley of Martyrs, where they paid tribute to the heroic martyrs who valiantly sacrificed their lives in the pursuit of our country's independence and territorial integrity.
It is important to emphasize that the Heydar Aliyev Palace, named after the esteemed national leader, holds a distinguished place in the architectural landscape of our capital. Serving as the premier stage and primary concert venue of the nation, the palace has been hosting a wide array of socio-political and cultural events over the years.
Today, as it did on that historic day of December 14, 1972, the Heydar Aliyev Palace remains the paramount stage for showcasing Azerbaijani culture and art. Despite the passage of many years, it continues to stand as a testament to the enduring legacy of its founder, the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
